💀Spirit Halloween, Big Lots & Home Depot--2020 Halloween!💀

The pumpkin suit jacket thing was especially dazzling.

Hello ladies and gents, I have another Halloween themed post for you all.
I couldn't possibly let Halloween 2020 slip by without taking a journey to these few places before they close down completely. Especially Spirit Halloween, among the few mentioned here. Honestly, the last two were just down the same path back home, so I thought;"Why Not?" lol

This is just going to be a peek into the store, to show you what they had to offer this year. Just to experience what everyone else got to witness weeks ago. (haha) I couldn't make any purchases, price tags were just too high for me to commit. What I CAN do is pretend I bought everything in these photos, though--so, there's that! lol

☣️Day 1 of ________?? | California Quarantine, COVID-19 Updates & "Toliet Paper" Panic Progression☣️

A sign we seen at a local Smart n Final store.

Hello ladies and gents
This post is something I didn't want to make but felt compelled to for the sake of History and the history of my family. Something I could look back on, or to have people look back on, in the future for years to come. This is a part of history we will never get back again, as scary as it might seem--it's important to remember.

☣️THE OUTBREAK TURNED PANDEMIC☣️
We seen this "X" a few days before the outbreak was confirmed. Makes ya think, doesn't it. Hmmm...
For those unaware I will try to sum it all down for you. (Presumably the people born much much later after this! Because everyone knows or has some knowledge of knowing what is happening today in terms of this tragic situation!) The Coronavirus (COVID-19) was known since January this year, or so records have shown on various different platforms. (Probably even sooner, since the "19" of "COVID-19" would suggest before this new year, am I right?) I could never explain the severity of this situation in my own words but I will try my best. You can look further into this by visiting a timeline of the overall spread HERE! As it spread, the virus became a global pandemic "reaching at least 177 countries and territories, killing more than 14,700 people and infecting more than 340,000, according to Johns Hopkins University."

❤️ Cult Fragrance LOVE MAIL | +Leatherface & The Countess Looks! ❤️

Hello ladies and gents,
A little into the New Year, I received this package from Cult Fragrance.
In truth, I had no idea I was going to receive such a huge box of gifts!
I was blown away, I couldn't contain my happiness.

I wish I would have been able to post about these sooner, but me and my whole family came down with a bad cold that wouldn't leave for such a long time. I didn't even want to get up to go to work, nothing. So, I couldn't get to post about these like I wanted to, a long time ago. I only started feeling a little better now, enough to get some of these posts posted. lol
Anyways, I spent some time looking at everything all over again.
I am still in awe at the length Sonya went with all of these gifts.

I can't stress how well she knew me and my brother--everything handpicked and selected!
So very impressed with her selections, everything was and still is perfect!
The fact she knew us better than we even knew ourselves? I was shocked!

🎃 Happy Halloween 2019 🎃

 Hello ladies and gents,
Today I am finally getting my Halloween post...posted. lmfao
I could give you an assorted variety of reasons why I've been late to post this but truly,
it will not do anything but cause me to waste more of your precious time reading this darn thing. lmfao I think the best coarse of action would be to simply give you what you've come to see--Halloween tricks and treats~!
Google had a cute little banner for Halloween, too~
~SAMHAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA~
On the day of Halloween, I took to the internet. I know that some people have a bittersweet relationship with social media (and the internet, in general) but I really do love it!! I love how it can connect like-minded people together from all over the globe. I also happen to love to see what other people do on such a glorious holiday such as this. From Google Search Engines to Facebook friend posts~ I love it all! Here are some of the highlights from the internet (as well as some stuff I did in the month of October, too!) If you don't follow me on any of my social networks then this will be new to you but if you do--let's rekindle that old Halloween feeling together~
Here is a screenshot of our local newspaper's Instagram! I made front cover...err...front post? lol

🎃Another Halloween Haul 2019--99 Cent Store & Smart n Final🎃

I'm lost in the mask aisle again! lol

Hello boils and ghouls,
Another haul for the season--
I ended up getting a few more items to add in my life.

Honestly, this is the only time of year I like to stock up on some household items--
like makeup, decor pieces, scary things to add into my wardrobe, etc.
I say it every year but it holds truth--Halloween is everyday for me.

I took some images throughout the day, included some eventual things for future me to remember.
But most importantly, I included some Halloween aisle fun! lol
TON of stuff, despite most of everything from the last couple of trips have already been sold.
Mostly the makeup has been reduced to a few grabs, but I ended up nabbing a few trinkets to stash away.

Enough of this chit-chat, allow me to show the photos already~

🌿My Secret Little Garden🌿[Not so secret...anymore. lol]🌿

Mother Mary and some Pinecones.
Hello ladies and gents,
Today I want to post about something I hold near and dear to my heart.
Other than doing makeup, fashion, crafts and the like--
I also like to garden and take care of my green babies.

It should come as no sudden surprise, considering I am into the occult and witchcraft.
It's just common knowledge that a witch will have her own sacred garden space. lol

Mine is nothing extreme, though I do want to own a HUGE garden with all the extras one day.
(Mostly a large garden like in the Secret Garden movie that contains flowers, herbs, vegetation, edible plants and all of those lovely stuff!)
I also want to own a few carnivorous plants, too.
Nothing that will kill/consume me (like the dreadful Yateveo "I See You" Tree! lol) but ones that will help my garden/harvest grow--like traps of all kinds to help against predatory bugs and/or ones that will just help to repel harmful predators from entering my space--like mosquitoes or wasps!

I've always been huge on greenery of all kinds--the gentle giants and the meat eaters.
Don't get me wrong, I also love my bugs but I do respect the circle of life.
The bugs eating the harmless plants is no different than the plants eating the harmless bugs, etc.
They need each other much like we need them.
Of course, I wouldn't put them together JUST to watch their dismay, I will probably put the carnivorous ones in a separate area--just to be fair. Let the plants attract their prey in a very fair way without my taunting or pushing. Visa versa.

But we are nowhere near that just yet,
just harmless daydreaming of what could one day become my reality.

Anywho, I am going to show you what I have and what I am currently taking care of.
This is just my hobby, I am no professional but that is the song and dance of all professionals, right?
We all, at some point in our green thumbing lives, had to be a novice. <3
So, this is my beginning of all beginnings~

✝️ 90s Kohls Fashion Boots Funeral, Remembrance & Mourning Procession.✝️

RIP 1990 Kohls Fashion Boots
We are gathered here today,
to give our respects and love to a pair of my vintage 90s boots.

I got them a loooooong time ago, at a local thrift shop, in relatively GREAT shape.
I wore them twice and they ended up ripping entirely apart.
I wore them again for a comicon a while back with my Junji Ito Spiral cosplay.
Thinking that since they were a BIT damaged (not even seen by the naked eye!) nothing would happen. They looked great but I assume the treading through wet grass
and resurfacing out into the hot summer heat made them crack and crease more.

My dearest friends...

🎃Dollar Tree Halloween Stuff [A Look Around+Mini Haul)🎃

First glimpse of inside the Halloween Aisle.
Hello ladies and gentlefish
Another lovely post about my favorite time of year.
Quite honestly, if walkthroughs and showcases aren't your thing--forgive me
but there will be LOADS more of these posts until the season ends.

I'm not much of a Christmas person nor am I some sentimental Valentine but when it comes to Halloween--I feel like a kid in a candy store...quite literally. lol

I haven't been to my local Dollar Tree in a very long time.
So, I felt compelled to see what they had to offer for this spooky season.
(If they had anything at all.)
And I felt like Jack when he stumbled on Christmas Time.
"What's this? What's THIS?"
I could explain what I seen in bold text but I'd much rather you witness it yourself.
Allow me to just show and tale~
Tons of costumes have graced the shelves. Loads upon loads of Unicorn related things. Who says fantasy is dead? lol

🧡🖤BIG LOTS Halloween Sneak Peeks of 2019🧡🖤

Hello ladies and gents
It is almost that time of year again.
When bats hang from castle entrance-ways, smiling jack-o-lanterns glow under dead trees...
Skeletons skip rope with the intestines of zombies....you get the picture.
One of my personal favorite holidays--Halloween.

I know a lot of people LOATHE my Halloween walk-throughs and store sneak peeks but I can't help myself. When I see the spooky, I gotta post the spooky.

If you don't like this kind of content, I'm sorry.
I will give you some time to click out of this post.
(Hades forbid you read something against your will...)
Goodbye, my dear friend. On the count of three.
Uh 1.....Uh 2......Uh 3.....

🎇🎆4th of July 2019🎆🎇

The Lake was packed with tons of people. Even some campers and tents.

Hello ladies and gents, It's been a while since I last updated on this platform.
I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting, but a lot has come up in such a short timeframe.

All excuses aside, Our 4th of July was a very small gathering of just us and a few residents around the town. Alike any other year, where we'd just celebrate in the comforts of our own home--We decided to join our fellow humans at one of our local landmarks--our beautiful man-made lake. Truly something worth attending, our lake has been around longer than I've been alive. Something kids my age would kill a few hours relaxing at in grade school, as well as myself. A history that goes even deeper than the lakes own depths.

So, it was something sentimental and rather, emotional upon attending a place that we've been growing up around. Something my parents knew as children themselves. My mother telling tales of this lake with her own father, now being shared with me to pass onto my own children one day.

The 4th of July has always been something huge for my mom growing up. A holiday she and her father shared together. Since his passing, we have always made sure to remember him and his heroic ventures as a Capt in WW2 and a Medic before that. A memory that will always live on, just as this lake continues to live on.

Anywho, enough with this miniature history lesson.
Allow me to show you some of the festivities that went on~

🌿My Little Growing Babies--The Progress of May 17th-May 26th🌿 | Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents,
I am posting again on this beautiful day.
A rather long and proud post of progression.
Most of my baby sprouts have budded in my garden.

I have planted some herbs and all kinds of wild flowers for no other reason than to help my insect buddies. Some inviting flowers for the Bumblebees & Monarchs, as well as some beautiful fragrant herbs for my craft and cooking. (or course certain herbs help to rid me of certain insects, so I don't have to kill them. I hate killing anything unless I have to but this will help to ward off some predators without causing any harm!) But the herbs I am wanting mostly for cooking, among anything else. Of course, I plan to treat my herbs delicately when I prune off the pieces I need. Giving them the thanks they deserve for allowing me the opportunity to use them.

But before any of that is allowed, I must first bring them into my world.

A lot of people don't know this side of me, mostly because I don't talk about it much but being silent will do nothing for me. It certainly will not help me document my trails and errors...or even my successes. I just love my plants so much and I use to have so much in a garden out in the back of my house, I wish I would have taken more images with them but wishing is for stars...I will just start doing more now. In the here and now. At this very minute.

😈Mommy's Little Monster (A recreation of my mother's doll!)😈 | Hannabal Marie

Sneaky Peeky~

Hello ladies and gents
I am posting on behalf of my mother. For mother's day, this year, I thought it would be pretty awesome to recreate one of her handmade dolls in human form.

She have always created dolls my whole life. She does so as a fun little past-time.
Gifting a new one to me for my birthday or "just because."

I love her dolls so much and that isn't a biased opinion--
I watch her hand-stitch every inch. I see her create the patterns at the end of her bed, lightly pressing fingers to fabric in hopes to "feel" what a specific doll would end up becoming.
Each one as unique as the next. I see her struggle with the thread as she puts it through the needle, nearly jabbing her own fingers a few times--she just smiles and says; "pain is just an extra piece of fabric!" Hahaa

Every element of these dolls has been touched, loved, held, sweetly spoken to and taken care of. Much like a mother to a child, she holds them up high and feels a sense of pride when the last stitch is knotted. Her growing collection beside her bedside table sparkles a smile in their glass eyes, knowing that my mother will talk to each one as she passes the bedroom to get to her next pattern and material. Her love is stitched between loose ends, and for that--I had to bring life to the doll she made for me recently. Make her daughter become one of her dolls. <3
Before we get to the final look, I want to include a few snaps I took in the day.

My dad woke us up to a great breakfast, he made some french toast. We ate, decided what we were going to do and then set out to do it. We also wanted to do a little ghost hunting/chatting with the haunted in our house, but nothing really happened enough to document. Then again, we weren't really trying to catch anything nor did we really take it too seriously. My mom just wanted to do it for Mothers Day because she loves it so much.

We did, however, end up binge watching some late night Paranormal shows and scary stories on the television to end the day. It was just a very silent, sweet little Mothers Day all about our mom and what she wanted to do--which was just be with us, as a family, without distractions. So, not much was taken in terms of photos or content other than my makeup present I showed her on the actual day!

💮EASTER 2019 (Makeup, Crafts & Shenanigans!)💮 | Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents,
Sorry for the delay in posts but life has kept me way too busy.
I couldn't get to my laptop to post like I should have been but I am here now--
and that is all that counts. It doesn't matter when I post, as long as I post. Right?
At least, that's what I think matters.

Easter was a very simple little holiday that came and went.
Nothing too extreme but we did keep to certain traditions--
like egg dying, the candy baskets, makeup and stuff like that.

I know I'm an adult but I don't care--holidays are still something of major importance to me.
So, we always make sure to celebrate in whatever ways possible. Age has NOTHING to do with having a good time and creating happiness.
Making "straws" for my basket weaving.
Before the "big day" I spent a few days crafting some stuff for future easter looks.
Nothing really in mind but I really wanted to do a sort of "easter bunny" but in my kind of way.
My kind of "spooky fashionable" way. lol

🌟Grape City Con 2019--Meeting Freddy Krueger, Bob Ross Deadpool & R2-D2!! | Hannabal Marie🌟

Hello ladies and gents
It was that time of year again--Grape City Con 2019.
In truth, we didn't really expect to go this year.
Getting the tickets was a last minute thing but spontaneous moments were made from this.
The wristband we wore. I am going to make a scrapbook with all of my paper elements. I have this one and the few from other conventions. As well as Zombie Walk newspaper clippings with me and my brother on the article. Making memories and all of that.

I have been reading some of my Anita Blake novels again, falling back in love with this badass animator and vampire hunter. I also found out that Marvel is making (has been making) comics about this woman...so, I thought I'd do my take as Anita Blake.

Everything was done in 2 days or less. Outfit planned the day before and the gun I hand-painted all in one night. I will post a progression before/after about my creating the gun and stuff as soon as I get this one done here. But for now, this is about the con and all the little things that took place.

🎄 Xmas 2018 Haul--VTG Ursula Tee, Handmade Gypsy Necklace & Grumpy Cat PJs 🎄 | Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents,
As promised, I am here to show the presents I received for xmas.
Some of these items are actually shared presents and one of them isn't even mine
but I wanted to include because I was happy to have gotten it for my brother. lol

Anywho, if you want to read about the kinds of stuff we did for Xmas as a whole, you can check out that post HERE.

This isn't that, this is just the gifts.
I'm giving you guys two different posts, so that no one can come complaining to me that I gagged them with an unnecessary haul or that I was flashing something in their faces.
You got two posts to choose from--if you see it fit.

You clicked on this haul, you are gonna read the haul. lmfao

🎅 Merry Christmas 2018--Christmas Prep, Eve Shenanigans & Gift Wrapping! 🎅 | Hannabal Marie

I made these rocks for my mom.
She wanted the words "Let It Snow" to be on them in some way, so I painted them like that.
Not my best work but she likes 'em.

Hello ladies and gents,
I am sorry for the long delay, I have been nursing an illness.
Aside from that, I've been so damn tired since Christmas Eve,
I decided to take a few days off to just catch up on some Z's and take care of myself.

Since it's a New Year, I want to recap on some of my Christmas fun!
Giving Christmas kisses to my dad Charlie. This reminds me of one of those renaissance paintings.
We didn't do a lot this Christmas, which is pretty much every year--Not complaining at all.
Truth being told, this time of year, I just like to cozy up on the couch with my pets
and experience the holidays as the warm festive occasion it is.
(Despite the weather being quite frightful!) lol

I took a lot of photos throughout the whole month of December, as usual...
but only am I posting NOW about it all.
I got a few mini hauls (I know, I know...I have been getting complaints from a few people that my hauls "bore" them, so I shall keep it all in one post!) and some other fun little shots I took that felt right at the time. I honestly forgot what types of photos I took, so this is going to be fun for the both of us. lol

💛The Golden Years (New Years Makeup Collaboration w/ Ghost Lee) | Hannabal Marie💛

Hello ladies and gents
Aside from the gentleman look I created in a previous post HERE
I also created a flapper look inspired by New Years vintage postcards, as well.

This was an actual collaboration between me and Ghost Lee Art!
I chose to do a vintage inspired look that is supposed to represent the New Years in the past,
while he did a more modern future approach.
Together, we have the PAST & FUTURE!

"Go thou thy way and I go mine,
Apart, yet not afar;
Only a thin veil hangs between
The pathways where we are"

Goodbye 2018--Hello FUTURE!

I know it isn't 2019 just yet, with my timezone and everything but I know that as soon as I blink, a new year will be already here. Time keeps flying and it hasn't stopped yet but that's life, right? I am bitter-sweet about 2018--it started out pretty horrible but it's ending fairly okay. I am not going to keep you reading a long detailed post about silly resolutions or things that could have been but didn't...no, it's no use to ponder on the "what ifs" and "should haves", in my honest opinion but I know what I know now and I can waltz into 2019 with a better sense of judgement and so much more knowledge. If ever a year was made up of battling and fighting--2018 was definitely mine. I fought to get to where I am and truth being told, I am still fighting. I fought against negative forces trying to bring me down and belittle me and mine. Negativity in the beginning of the year, negativity in the middle--it wasn't until I decided to continue to fight for my own best interest, that everything started to change. I was at a point where giving up felt a decent idea...but something in me, with the help of my family and friends, kicked me back into shape and kept me moving forward. Now, I have so much to look forward to. I haven't even acknowledged what I'm talking about due to fear of saying something too soon and having things fail. But all I will say is that me and my brother are working, have been working, on some amazing things for this near future. Our skills and talents have been recognized by a few companies and we are coming together to see where this future takes us. I may not be entirely free from harms way but I know that if I can go through the bullshit I had to endure in years previous, I can go through anything! I know 2019 will be better for me and mine because only until now has a fire been lit under me to want to make a change and take my craft/skills/hobbies/talents seriously. Aside from physical skills and things of this nature--I also know who is around at this very moment, those who make a difference in my life and those who shine hope down on me...I know who you are and I just want to say I appreciate your efforts, deeply. Thank you for being here, for as long as we've known each other! Thank you for putting up with me, supporting me and inspiring me to be a better artist each and every day. Some don't see "likes" as anything other than food for attention hungry people to obtain...but I can't stress how GREAT it feels to see them on my work, to look at it being appreciated. The comments telling me how great it is or how I blew them away. It really makes me feel good to know that someone, across the globe even, seen my work and loves it...instead of just making it in my bedroom and pinning it on my bedroom walls for no one to ever see. lol But enough with the sappy stuff, let's hold our heads up high and embrace 2019!! We got this everyone!! <3

🎃 Autumn Leaves--The end of our 2018 Halloween Pumpkin 🎃 | Hannabal Marie

My beautiful Pumpkin.

Hello ladies and gents
This was our Halloween pumpkin of 2018.

He is dying, slowly but surely.
Squishy and soft in certain parts.
Some of the bulbous nubs are falling off and crumbling.
His stem is coming off and he is starting to smell.
Before he leaves, I wanted to memorialize him.

🎃 Halloween 2018--Dirty Devil Dancing, KitKat Pumpkin & Trick-or-Treaters! 🎃 | Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents
I am bringing you a post full of the crazy antics
and silly events that took place this Halloween.
We didn't really have anything planned.
Mostly wanted to have a calm, relaxing Halloween
to make up for all the chaos and running around we have done the months prior.

So, we stayed home, gave out candy and had a blast.
and to make matters even better--
AHS was on that night, so we had something to watch as the night came to an end.

So, enough with the chit-chat--I am just going to show you what happened.
I gave all my babies a bath the day before, so they would be ready for the big day.
