🌟Grape City Con 2019--Meeting Freddy Krueger, Bob Ross Deadpool & R2-D2!! | Hannabal Marie🌟

Hello ladies and gents
It was that time of year again--Grape City Con 2019.
In truth, we didn't really expect to go this year.
Getting the tickets was a last minute thing but spontaneous moments were made from this.
The wristband we wore. I am going to make a scrapbook with all of my paper elements. I have this one and the few from other conventions. As well as Zombie Walk newspaper clippings with me and my brother on the article. Making memories and all of that.

I have been reading some of my Anita Blake novels again, falling back in love with this badass animator and vampire hunter. I also found out that Marvel is making (has been making) comics about this woman...so, I thought I'd do my take as Anita Blake.

Everything was done in 2 days or less. Outfit planned the day before and the gun I hand-painted all in one night. I will post a progression before/after about my creating the gun and stuff as soon as I get this one done here. But for now, this is about the con and all the little things that took place.

👀 The Creation of My Momo 👀 | Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents
As promised, here is a WIP (Work in progress) post to showcase some of the highlighted moments I took in the overall construction of my Momo cosplay.

This was probably the more simpler cosplay I have ever done, but still took a great portion of my time and effort to construct.

The main focal point being the mask.
I have never actually created a "mask" before, so this was new territory for me.
I was also doing something new with latex to construct a thicker material.
By mixing flour with latex, I created a sort of "Slop" that I molded into a mask.
It took some time and a lot of hands-on work to finish, but the overall look came out perfect.

There was a lot of hits and misses but I now know what to do and what not to do.
The thrill of trial and error. lol

Some of the stuff we got from the event.

Hello ladies and gents
September 23rd was the Library Con here where we live.
But quite frankly, it was a bit of an awkward day.

I have a bit of a story to share here,
So I do hope you got some snacks for this very long read. hahaa

Grape City Con 2018 // Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents
March 31st was the annual Grape City Con
and as such, we attended with bells and whistles on. lol

We only had a weeks notice and tossed something together with what we had laying around.

So, since me and my brother both finished Spiral, The manga from Junji Ito--
we thought we'd both go as characters from it.

I have already posted my makeup look in full detail on this blog,
so if you haven't seen that post...you can click HERE to check it out in better detail.

✪ Grape City Con 2017 ✪ Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents
I am posting something I am so happy to post!
I went to the Grape City Comicon here in Lodi!
I have never been to one, to be fair--I never been to a single Comicon in my entire life.
So, this was a first not just for me but the whole family.

I went with the fam and my boyfriend.
We all had such loads of fun.
It was kinda hot and my makeup was a bit hard to manage...my feet started to ache and my sides started to get sore but ya know what? I wouldn't have changed a thing. No pain, no gain and I gained a tonnnn of amazing memories! lol
I am entirely happy and still giddy about the fun and amazing people we met and befriended.
I think I will be on cloud 9 for a very long time. I haven't came down, not an inch! lol

I won't bore you with idle chit-chat, that isn't the reason you came to this post.
You want pictures, and I'm here to deliver!
