🦇FB Marketplace Halloween Bundle🦇--Vtg Gemmy, Mr. Christmas & Chrisha Creations!

Hello ladies and gents,
I know I said I was done hauling Halloween wares
but my heart is forever engulfed in the Ween of Hallow.
Especially old vintage items that I can't quite pass up.
My dog when we brought in the bundle. lol
Today I have a lovely post full of wondrous little Halloween trinkets and thingies!
In this lot I have a little bit from everywhere--Gemmy (which are my favorites among favorites
when it comes to Halloween trinkets!!), Mr. Christmas (A brand I never heard before until now!) and an inflatable from Chrisha Creations! (Another brand I never knew existed until now!)

✝️ 90s Kohls Fashion Boots Funeral, Remembrance & Mourning Procession.✝️

RIP 1990 Kohls Fashion Boots
We are gathered here today,
to give our respects and love to a pair of my vintage 90s boots.

I got them a loooooong time ago, at a local thrift shop, in relatively GREAT shape.
I wore them twice and they ended up ripping entirely apart.
I wore them again for a comicon a while back with my Junji Ito Spiral cosplay.
Thinking that since they were a BIT damaged (not even seen by the naked eye!) nothing would happen. They looked great but I assume the treading through wet grass
and resurfacing out into the hot summer heat made them crack and crease more.

My dearest friends...

Thrift Haul: Mannequin, Vtg Accordion & Angels // Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents
Another lovely little haul for you guys today.
I am sorry for not frequently posting like I used to.
I can sit here and give excuses but I wont. haha
I just will say that I have been collecting
and putting things aside to create lovely posts for you all to see.

For all those new who are just stumbling on this post--I want to introduce myself:
The name is Hannabal Marie and I'm a hoarder. lol jkjk

Actually, I like to thrift shop to such a degree that the thrill of "finding a good find" is so addicting to me that I have started posting my wares for the public eye because a few of my close friends and relatives are just as addicted to thrifting as I am
and requested I do this as a huge haul--so, here I am obliging their command. hahaa

I get asked this all the time;
"What do you look for in items?"
And I can't properly give an explanation other than I like what most people hate.
I like finding the odd and unusual as well as the tacky and quite hideous.
(as someone pointed out to me once before! hahaa)
Anything really that would make a great photoshoot or go with any of my many collections;
Clown, vintage items, odd items and other. lol
I also own a record player, so old music is always great to collect, as well. lol

But enough chit-chat--you didn't come here to make conversation.
You came to gawk and gawk you shall. <3

I have so many great things today--from clothing to a lot of vintage items.
I hope you enjoy.
So please, grab yourself a hot cup of coffee or tea
and scroll through some of the junk I call treasures~

Halloween Thrift Haul: Stuffed Animals, Animatronics, VTG Decor & Puppets! // Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gents,
I have another HUGE Halloween thrift haul for the likes of you all.
I love this time of year because thrift stores tend to have all kinds of awesome vintage, old and sometimes brand-spanking new Halloween related items in stock.
I found some amazing finds that I would like you all to enjoy with me, so shall we then?

As is custom with most of my thrifting posts, I don't have a theme nor a "starting point".
I see, I grab--if it's in reasonable pricing range. lol
So, let's start with the this:

COLLECTIVE HAUL: Vtg Halloween, Copperware, Preserved Butterflies + A Dummy // Hannabal Marie

Hello ladies and gentlefish
I have been buying and collecting some more stuff here and there.
It's pretty much a hobby of mine to check out the local thrift shop
and see what they might have inside it's walls.
Sometimes I buy one thing, sometimes I buy in bulk...
It all depends on the day and the finds.

I have a post here full of a few months worth of collecting and finding for you all to see.
I don't really know why I like thrifting, some people find it repulsive..I find it therapeutic.
I just love the history and story each piece has...
and that underlining truth that someone, somewhere, had this item in their possession at one point in their life...
and now I have it in my own household.
It pleases me, to say the least, to know that a part of them lives within me.
idk, call it weird but that is just how I see things.

My "type" of find is pretty much anything different and strange.
The more odd, the better.
I have a tendency to get things most people would question me about
because I feel more drawn to that type of specific than anything off the racks of some mass marketed retail store.

This haul here has something inside of it that I have been wanting my wholeeee life.
I won't spoil the surprise, though I think it spoiled itself with the title and intro photo
but I still will keep a secret. lol

Anywho, let us get into this now:

An Oddity Haul: Spooky Photos, Naughty Coins & Dead Things // Hannabal Marie

Hello one and all,
I am posting another "Haul" related post for your viewing pleasures.
I know I've been posting quite a few of these but I have hit the mother of all jack pots in these last couple of days when it comes to stuff I actually collect and wish to showcase.

Aside from many things I collect--like Clowns, Mannequin parts, Lisa Frank memorabilia, Witchy items and the like.
I also collect oddities of every way, shape and form.

Some of my oddities in my room. Most found at thrift shops or picked up from the street. I also collect things people give me that they expect me to throw away, like letters or gum-wrappers. lol

Now, when it comes to defining what an "oddity" is--it really depends on the person and what they think is "odd".
It's usually trinkets and abnormal finds that differ from the common consumption.
Like broken items, items with malfunctions, items with multiple parts that weren't necessarily intended for the use. So on and so forth.

It really changes between people because what someone might claim is an oddity might be normal to someone else and visa versa.

To end this little rant (I tend to rant a lot about useless things--I'm sorry! lol)
I collect oddities, what I consider oddities and strange things.
Usually at thrift shops, dumpsters, tossed on the side of railroad tracks or found under some bridge out in some isolated village where fish people live and roam...errr...wait....what was I saying? lol
